Easter Mud Pie Recipe


        Why not use up that Easter chocolate and create something new!!

Mud pie!!

You will need:
1 chocolate egg for topping
1 tbsp cocoa powder
125g castor sugar
175g butter
250g broken biscuits
125g mixed dried fruit
1. Melt the butter in a saucepan, adding the cocoa and sugar once melted.
2. Add the fruit and biscuits and stir.

3. Put some foil onto a 8ins cake tin and pour in the mix

4. Press the mixture down with the back of a wooden spoon. Place in the fridege for 2 hours.

5. Make the topping by melting the chocolate on top of a bowl of hot water. Once the 2 hours is up, take the pie out of the fridge and place topping onto it, spreading it over with a knife.
