An inspiration to all adults!!

Bold

There are so many children out there who are an inspiration to us all........so why don't we take a leaf from their book?
Children except what they are dealt in life and strive to live life at the full. They don't judge colour, race, creed, size, gender or height and they happy with what they have. Some say they are naive, yes, but there are so many children out there who battle with crushing circumstances with a smile on their face, we should really take a leaf from their book!

I have seen a lot of inspirational children on the news and on the television recently and it has made me realise the trivial things I get annoyed about and the times I wished for a better life are wasted! I should be tackling things head on, like a child would, and make things happen rather than moan about things!!! There are children who are carers for their parents, children with no parents at all, children battling disease and hunger and yet, they do their best to smile and play and enjoy their lives.

I know this post may seem a little soppy today, but I think that anyone working with children or parents should just take a little pause and think about the children they care for and how they inspire you. I have seen children who I have looked after try over and over again until they master a new skill. If you think about it, many adults trying to learn a new skill may get quickly frustrated and give up. I have seen children pick themselves up after falling over, brush themselves off and carry on. To me, these simple tasks have made me realise that life is too short to sit and cry when you fall............there is far too much going on out there to savour and experience!

Has a child inspired you???
